Thursday, April 9, 1942 DAILY NEBRASKAN For the first time in months, this weekend seems to be all planned for everybody. What with the Corncob party Friday night and Saturday night so full of dances, someone is bound to get confused. The Theta Xi boys are having their spring formal while the Kappu Sigs and the Sigma Kappas-coincidence ? arc both having wild and wooly house parties as are also the Tri Delts. Kappa Sib pledges planning on enjoying to their utmost the so called sweater dance are Capron Coe, Gene Olmstead and Jim Gutschow with such beauties as Geiry Anderson. Theta. and Chi Omegas, Edna Mae Xeidermeyer and Pat Beadle. . .Another Chi O whose love life isn't so smooth, but definitely, is one Betty Schultz who can't see Chuck Hauptmann, Phi Psi for sour apples anymore. ...Some people just can't make up their minds, as witness Doro thy Jean Brown, KKG, and Don James, jitterbug ATO. who couldn't have been more engrossed with each other yesterday over a coke, and after all their vows of never again We would really like to know if Kay Tunison still has that Beta pin from Chuck Pillsbury or if a certain promise she made to cur rent partner. Hook Lauer, has superseded all former ties. ...A combination no longer to be ignored is that of Dick Chambers, DU, and Agnes Fox. Alpha Chi. The Alps Chis seem to hold a fatal attraction for Dick since sister Lois Scofield has been holding first place on his list for quite sometime Our nominees for the two most frequent inhabitants of the grill are Barbara Morehouse, Alpha Phi queen, and Nelson But terworth, Phi Delt. Nary a day goes by but they can be seen deco rating some booth there.... Lisko (Continued from Page 1.) tism can a person enter the king dom of heaven. Therefore, chil dren must be baptized in Infancy to take a precaution against the possibility that death might come to the child before it was old enough to see to it that he was baptized himself. In order for an interfaith mar riage to be a success one must compromise. In 95 cases out of 100 it is the Protestant who gives in. This is because Protestants are usually more broadminded, the speaker said. In closing Father Lisko asked that students build a mental bar rier around themselves against in terfaith marriages. In this way all will be happier and there will be fewer problems. Generally, he said, when the ro mance is gone the marriage fails, and if not at this time it may be a success until children come into the home. A proposed college of veterinary medicine at the University of Cali fornia hag bocn deferred until after the close of the war.
