Dear Huskers: It has been a month since I have written you one of these letters and if you recall, the last one came before the Iowa State contest which you proceeded to win in a masterly fashion. Whether or not the letter had anything to do with it, is problematical but we decided to try this scheme once more in hopes that it might pre cede another win. You have had a little tough tedding this year after losing 27 of the squad that went to see the Rose Bowl last January, but both students and fans are still behind you all the way thru. Golden Gophers right now and tomorrow will see you meeting the legendary giants of Minnesota on their home field. More than likely the dice will wink at the Minne Botans but win or lose, you are carrying on a tradition that is deep in the heart of every true Nebhaskan. Another thing that you have been exhibiting during the prac tices so far is an increasing amount of team work. You are finally be ginning to show that you can work together as a team and one play er's responsibility is now every one's. At this stage in the season, we feel that you are all coming around to that point of reasoning and that may be what has been lacking. During the season, thus far, changes have been made in your ranks. Faces have appeed only to disappear from the roster again and you should realize the part these Huskers have played on the team. Injuries have cut deeply and some of these injuries are of grave seriousness. Bad luck has counted its toll, too but it is our belief that you are not going to let this get your dobber down be fore this game. You will not be playing the game Saturday, to win only for your own personal pride but you will be representing fellows like Gerry Kathol, lying on a hospital bed and Kenny Simmons, hopping around on crutches wishing that he could Ret a crack at the foe. You will be in there fighting to build the Husker's prestige; to make every loyal Nebraskan smile a little. This will all be at stake, so when you get at the Gophers drive just a little bit farther, block a little harder, pass a little more accurat ely, punt a little farther and above all fight a clean battle; regard less of the outcome if you do this, there will not be one true Husker fan that will not welcome you home with open arms. WE'RE STILL. WITH YOU Lots of luck, Sports Ed. Every student at Berea college, Kentucky, must work part time, and all students live in dormitories. Farm House Whips Sigma Nu Team, 9-0 Farm House, showing a fight ing defense, put a crimp in any championship ideas which Sigma Nu might have entertained as the former rolled for a 9-0 decision, yesterday afternoon. The Farm House aggregation scored early in the game on a 30 yard pass from Warren Gableman to Charles Gardner and then Gableman booted the extra point to set them well in the lead. In the third quarter the winners' of fensive carried them to the Sigma Nu two yard line where they lost the ball due to a fumble. Standing on his own goal four plays later Bill Stuht attempted to punt out but his kick was too long in materializing, giving Gard ner a chance to rush in and block it. This gave the final two points that settled the entire contest and from that point on the Sigma Nus tried everything in their reper toire in an effort to score. Zorn and Bacon. Outstanding for Farm House were Howard Zorn and Harold Bacon in the line. They were both niching hard and hurrying the op posing passers to win praise from the spectators. Gableman and Gardner were the back stand outs. For Sigma Nu, Don Anwalt and Bill Stuht played the best games. The, winners will meet Beta Theta Pi next week for the championship while Sigma Nu will play Phi Gamma Delta.
