Following the English usage classification tests this afternoon, each new student will receive an appointment card designating the adviser and time for registration . starting Monday. Bengston warned students that the medical exami nations must be taken before registration can be completed. First steps for students who registered last spring and who have paid their fees will be to pick up copies of their registration at social science 211 from 8:30 to 4:30, on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Those who registered last spring but have not paid their fees must go to the coliseum, according to officials in the registrar's office. There, they can pick up their slip, pay fees and complete their regis tration. Changes in schedule can be made by first picking up the registration copy at social science, then consulting with adviser and finally making the formal drop and add at the coliseum. Although total enrollment was expected to decline greatly, Dr. G. W. Roscnlof, registrar and di rector of admissions, said that the drop will not be as great as ex pected earlier. Dr. Bengtson made this state ment to new students: "The Junior division is primarily interested in the welfare of each individual stu dent. Advisers recommend to each student only those subjects that he desires and in which he is qualified. Students should first realize that education must be earned and worked for and can't be acquired by a shortcut process."
