Notations

Universal Subscription
Q. Why is universal subscrip
tion to the DAILY NEBRASKAN
desirable ?
A. Universal subscription would
carry to every student the univer
sity news and administrative in
formation that it is essential for
him to know, and would further
more make possible a paper with
news content worth the money a
student must expend for it.
On some college campuses Ihe
administration itself puts out
publication which is distributed to
all the students and contains bul
letins of importance to them. This
is done out of university funds,
the same funds that students pay
in for registration. In the case of
the Minnesota Daily, this adminis
trative service has been combined
with the student paper and a large
and interesting publication to ev
ery student is the result.
If the activities and lectures on
this campus are of any value
whatever, it is of equal value to
publicize them. If a person is to
be a Nebraskan, he should have
the spirit of Nebraska as well as
the name. It is to make these
things possible that universal sub
scription at a small expense is
desirable.
See the Nebraskan bulletin for late announcements and changes
