Nomination
for the popularity plus gal of the
semester is Theta Maribel Hitch
cock, better known as "Hitchie,"
who splits her dancing time be
tween Beta Leon Davis, ATO Ed
Butler and Phi Gam Jerry Thomp
son. Last weekend she was seen
with Ed at the ATO formal, and
she will go to the Interfraternity
Ball with Jerry this weekend.
M i ower to you, "Hitchie."
Z or not to go
steady seems to be the sololoquy
which Tri Delt Mary Helen Diet
rich repeats, for one minute she is
and the next minute she isn't. Bet
Delt Dick Gcllatly wishes that she
would make up her mind pretty
soon! Just between you and I, I
think they are a cute couple together.
Sweet treats
were given to the Alpha Chi's
Tuesday night from Betty Green
and Gregory Meyer. The girls are
wondering just what will happen
to Marty Reed when her steady,
Bob Ford, goes into National
Guard camp on ttie 28th. Time will
tell, I guess.
Who shaved the squirrel?
When a few students saw a
scrawny looking squirrel over by
Law this morning, they took a
good look and saw that he had
been shaved down the back. Who
ever did it should feel ashamed,
and besides, haven't you heard
about the Humane Society?
Valentine
Day calls up some early celebra
tion on the part of the Tri Delta
who had a couple dinner Wednes
day evening. The Kappas will do
their dining formally on Thursday
night. Most every body else will
wait till the 14th. People like
Mary Anne Stryson, Alpha Phi
and Art Mason, Sigma Chi should
find the romantic theme very
much in keeping with their affair
which is reported (unofficially) to
be on the steady side. Also shar
ing this Valentine Day spirit will
be Theta Dottie Wierich and DU
Heavy Day who are seeing more
and more of each other these days.
