of top notch programs scheduled

column today.
TODAY.
Among the highlights for today
will be the Bob Ripley "Believe U
Or Not' program to be aired over
KFAB at 9 p. m. The show will
feature a galaxy of presidents of
the woman-haters, man-haters,
six-footers and lovers of Brooklyn
clubs.
David Fink, of Brooklyn, N. Y.,
will be on hand to speak for the
women-haters. He's president of
the woman-haters club.
Betty Orin, also of KrooKiyn,
will take up a verbal musket for
the man-haters. She heads the
man-hater's club.
From Hollywood, comes Kay
Krysler, a six-footer, to tell of the
tip toppers club, which he founded
several years ago.
Also heard will be Alex Shakt
man, president and founder of the
'society for the prevention of dis
paraging remarks about Brook
lyn." SATURDAY.
Saturday's highlights will in
clude a drama, "Honest Abe"
based on the life of Abe Lincoln,
starring Ray Middleton with
fston and Lawson
Zerbe. The program is scheduled
to be aired at S:3U a. m., rauiei
coiiv Vinnr for drama.
There will also be "Your Hit
Tarade" at 8 p. m. over KFAB,
on,i at 8:45 n. m. over the same
station, the "Saturday Night Ser
enade."
SUNDAY.
Kiinriav will brinz the American
Red Cross roll call at 12:30. The
nrnfrram will star Kathenne cor
noil in her first radio appearance,
with Clifton Fadiman, Bob Trout,
Leopold Stokowski, and many
other lights of the entertainment

locally over stations affiliated
with the Columbia Broadcasting
Svstem.
Helen Hayes will bring a radio
adaptation of Joan of Arc 10 me

Co-ed Counselors, big sisters to
freshman tntertained their little
sisters at dinner last night in the
Student Union. Ruth Clark took
care of the master of ceremonies
duties, introducing Mary Bullock,

Elsie Ford riper who welcomed
the new students.
Helen Hosp, Dean of Women
spoke to the 400 women students
stating that the annual fall dinner
is an excellent opportunity for
co-ed counselors to meet and be
