Education exhibit
reaches last day
Kxhibiting tests and testing ma
terials used in schools and genera!
clinical work, the department of
educational psychology and meas
urements wind.s up an open house
Tuesday, Wednesday and today.
Dr. D. A. Worcester, department
chairman was in charge.
Held in the department labora
tory in teachers college, the ex
hibit covers the three m;iin fieldo
of mental ability, education-)
and vocational guidance. Material
for testing ages from four months
up were displayed.
let him in the game,
lcst we forget!
Do not under any circumstances
forget to put your name on the
petitions being circulated to get
(ieorge Socman. Nebraska's ace
footballer a berth on the collegiate
all-star team that is to play in
Chicago one of these days. . . .
That is if the democrats leave any
thing there to play on!
The Nebraskan's ace sports
writer, smiling Jim Evinger, has
really got something to grin about
now. ... It seems as tho by the
power of his magnetic personality
alone, he finally wore Delta
Gamma's Pat Patterson's resis
tance down to the point where she
finally blossomed out with what
we believe is either his shirt stud
or his fraternity pin. . . . She used
to be such an intelligent girl too.
. . . Sympathy to all.
Wo just got an urgent request
from the psychology department.
In case you don't recollect. . . .
Psychology is something that tells
you why you are something- you
ain't. . . . Anyway Prof. Dysingor's
clinical class is looking for any
one, with or- without intelligence,
io do some mental testing on. . . .
Have you a little brain in your
homo'.' ... If so come right on
over.
The Union's ping pong tourna
ment is making headway with
bounds and bounces. . . . The funny
thing here is that anyone that was
good registered in the duffer class
so as they could win the prize. . . .
And anyone that was bad thought
differently and registered in the
advanced class. . . . The play-offs
should be interesting to say the
least. . . . The mug-hunters! . . .
Harry oiler Pitcaithley, "just
call mo the erand nlil n"" ho
Keiuaii." is having quite a time
trying to tak IVth Merrick. Delta
;amma pride and joy. out of her
winter ex-ooit Irv Sherman.
Harry's only statement was.
"". K. He's an Innocent. . . . I'm
innocent too and besides that . . .
gosh, can 1 play basketball , . .
Wow !"
Bev Finkle is taking all bets
that have to do with the coming
election. . . . Right now he has bet
yours truly seventy-two bottle caps
that Roosevelt will not be the next
d-niocratir nominee.
