Union shows film of Northwest A Kodachrome sound movie of the Northwest will be shown in the Union ballroom Friday afternoon at 4 p. m., sponsored by the geo graphy department and the Union. The film features scenes of Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks and of the apple industry of the Northwest. It was made in the summer of 1939 by the Great Northern Railways, and will be shown here by the photographer who filmed it. Sinfonia features Franck symphony The Sinfonia Harmony hour to day will feature Cesar Franck's Symphony in D minor, one of th symphonies most requested by stu dents. This symphony, characteris tically French, is recorded by th Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Leopold Stokowski. It is Franck's only symphony and was first performed in 1889.
