I've come to the
point of admit
ting that it's no easy job to look
cool and celestial with such fiery
competition. However, the psy
chological theory is that you
give a better appearance if you
do the best you can by yourself
and then quit worryms; abort
the weather and its destnirtiw
ness and f-pend your time in
more pleasant diversions.
Taking this rue, the n o.t pre

least one warm water bath with

Simon's have something new
which will make you feel like
Marlene Dietrich in a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayci

' Bubblcts" will soften the water

delicate, refreshing scent. Of

nicer than any .stifling peifunv.

"Zcnobia" will give you plenty
of laughs what with Alice

the second feature. You can

If you want some not-too-strenuous

the consequences. Confidentially,
everyone chooses the latter an 1

Statistician shows
uptrend in state
business activity
Nebraska's business activity
continued iipVard in June, accord
ing to preliminary estimates of
Arthur Auble, University of Ne
braska statistician. Altho building
construction declined, the gains in
hank debits, department store
sales, and postal receipts, after
seasonal adjustment, raised the
composite index 1.8 points over the
May figure and almost 5 points
over the April index.
Complete reports for May show
gains in postal receipts, building
construction, electric power pro
duction, new car sales, pay rolls,
employment, and life insurance
sales, and declines in bank debits
and department store sales.
