Lugn, of the geology department, told delegates to the annual Lutheran faculty confer ence at Fremont Saturday that geology is becoming increasingly more important as a science today. The conference is a national meeting of Lutheran college edu cators which was held on the Mid land campus Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Dr. Lugn said that "geology is nil nround us.
