Col leges arc failing to educate be cause thev do not teach their stu dents how to think purposefully. In America's universities, good minds stagnate and grow dull from lack of exercise and stimula tion. And yet in another, very dif ferent field seem to be indica tions that all is not hopeless with the kids of the country. If our schools of higher learning don't do right by our adolescents and young adults, the smaller children are getting a break, if we may believe the assertations of Current History.
