ment at chamber of commerce with Ne
braska' Sweetheart Margaret McKay as
mistress of ceremonies. Football pictures

chamber of commerce' second an
nual football rally today. High
nchool football Beniors from all
over the atate are here to be hon
ored along with the Cornhuskers
and Wesleyan men who have fin
ished their work on the gridiron.
The Jay-See awards will be pre
sented to the players at the lunch
eon in the chamber of commerce
dinning rooms this noon. Harry
Johnson. FFAB sports announcer
will make the awards.
The two seniors from Wesleyan
to be given awards are Henry
Menke and Dell Hedges. These are
the only men Coach Dwight Thom
as is losing this year.
Gordon Sends Delegation.
' The delegation from Gordon
will probaly travel the longest
distance to attend, and will
probably bring the largest num
ber of players. Traveling the
whole length of the state, the
entire Gordon team will be pres
ent. Other schools which will be
represented include Curtis,
which will send Cosch Cliff Ash
burn and his squad, and Omaha
Central which will send Co

Best Melody to Receive
Cash Prize Awards.
All persons wishing to compete
for the Kosmet Klub spring show,
either as song writers or authors
must have their names filed with
the Klub by 5 o'clock this after
noon. Each author must accom
pany his entry with a brief outline
giving the general plot of the
manuscript which he intends to
submit later for judging.
Triees of $40 for the manuscript
entry Judged best and $10 for the
one Judged second best will be
swarded. An award of $10 will
be given to the person writing the
best song selected for use in the
Khow.

ball rally sponsored by the Lin
coln junior chamber of commerce.
