Stricter enforcement of traffic and parking rules will be put into effect during the coming school year, according to report from Spt. L. C. Regler of the campus police. Renewed emphasis will he placed m the giving nf warning signals by the driver. Parking spaces reserved for fac ulty mojnners are. the spaces be- hind the . School of Music and Chemistry buildings and between 12th and 14th on the south half of the mall. Students are warned not to park their cara within those spaces nor on red lines. Warning tags will be issued for first offense. Second offenders will be subject to arrest. Speed limit for campus driv ing has been placed at 18 miles per hour. Cautions have also been issued against double parking at football or basketball games, and pedestri ans are warned against jaywalking and walking against the rod light. Several fines have been placed on such charges. State drivers' li censes, which must be obtained he fore Oct. 1, are being issued at the office of the county treasurer at the courthouse. Applicants must successfully pass a visual exami nation before obtaining a license. A fee of $1.00 has been set for new licenses. Renewals may be ob tained for 75 cents.
