ELECT OFFICERS OF KAPPA DELT ALUMNAE The Kappa Delta Alumnae asso ciation was entertained on Wed nesday evening, May 19, at the home of Mrs. R. W. Johnson, as sisted by Mrs. Richard Miller and Mrs. Glenn Ullstrom. Ruth Stal tenbcrg and Regina Myers. DELTA GAM'S HONOR SENIORS The active chapter of Delta Gamma entertained at a breakfast Satuiday morning at the Univer sity club. The breakfast was held in honor of seven seniors, each of whom was presented with a silver crested coffee spoon. Among the guests were Mrs. Gertrude Adams and Mrs. Ellise Gcphart of Los Angeles. Spring flowers were used as decorations. Frances Boldman was in charge of arrangements. The seniors were also honored gu.-sts Saturday afternoon at a tea given by the alumnae at the home of Mrs. George Holmes. HOME EC. FACULTY ENTERTAINS AT A TEA Saturday afternoon the home economics' faculty entertained at a tea honoring the senior and gra duating students in home econo mics. Tea was served from 3 un til t p. m. More than 100 guests attended. Presiding at the tea ta ble the first hour were Mrs. K. A. Burnett and Dr. Elizabeth Wil liamson, and the second hour Mrs. W. W. Burr and Miss Evelyn Metzger. Music was furnished by Mary Ellen McFarland, first vio lin. Alice Mae Booth, second vio lin, Marian Weber, viola: and Carol Capek, cello. Receiving the guests were Miss Margaret Kedde. Mi.ss Grace Morton, Miss Florence Corbin, Miss Birdie Vohies, Miss Ri-bckah Gibbons and Miss Mary Ellen Brown. The membership of Kosmet Klub is limited at the present time to 15 men who are chosen from the upper three classes on a basis of work done for the Klub during the year. The work created by the two shows is handled by a system of committees headed by the Klub members. The "work ers," as the men aspiring to mem bership are called, are assigned to the various committees, and thru their work on these committees they show the Klub their abilities and talents. Retiring officers are Robert Shellenberg, president; Ross Mar tin, business manager, ftnd Roy Kennedy, secretary. Other mem bers lost by graduation this June include Floyd Baker, Theo Brad ley, Robert Funk, Roy Kennedy, Vance Leinlnger, William Marsh, George Pipal and Gordon Uhrl. Returning members are Donald Boehm, Winfield Elias, Robert Martz, Webster Mills and Thurs- i ton Phelps. Prof. E. F. Schramm, who is faculty advisor, gave the principal address at the banquet. "Pliny the Elder," is the Roman name of a trick-performing rat owned by B.
