Announces Pledge
Jane Ettinger is a new pledge
of Alpha Delta Theta.

To Go on the Air
First house party in Nebraska
history to be broadcast will be the
Delta Upsilon open party at the
chapter house tonight. At 10:15
the party will go on the air. Me!
Pester's orchestra will play for
dancing. A blanket invitation has
been issued to all university stu
dents to attend.
Phi Psi's Decorate
With Blue and Silver
For their house party tonight
the Phi Psi's will decorate the
house with blue and silver as the
color scheme. Following the cam
pus custom for tonight the party
will be open and Mr. and Mrs. O.
A. Barber and Mrs. E. V. Gathers
will chaperon the affair.
Alpha Tau Omega
Gives Closed Party
Invitations were issued this
week for an Alpha Tau Omega
closed party at the chapter house
tonight. Decorations will carry out
! the Hallowe'en theme and Don
Boehm social chairman, is in
charge of arrangements for the
affair.

Theta XTs Hold
Pheasant Dinner
Several members of Theta Xi
went on a successful hunting trip
in the western part of the state
over the weekend, and upon re
turning invited the active chapter
to a pheasant dinner at the chap
ter house. The dinner was held
Wednesday night, with 35 mem
bers attending.
K. D.'s Cut Greek
Letters in Pumpkins
A novel idea for a Hallowe'en
party tonight is the Jack-o-lan-terns
with Greek letters cut in
them which will decorate the
downstairs rooms. In addition to
the Greek letter pumpkins the
house will be decorated with black
and orange streamers and black
cats. Chaperons will be Mrs. J.
H. Mcguire and Mr. and Mrs.
T. Earl Williams. Jean Tucker,
social chairman, is in charge of
arrangements.
Phi Gamma Delta
Pledges Two Men
Clarance Summers and Elmer
Bauer of Lincoln are new pledges
of Phi Gamma Delta.

in Haunted House
With the house transformed to
resemble a "haunted" house the
Alpha Sigs will hold a party at
the chapter house tonight. Dr. and
Mrs. Norman Carlson and Mr. and
Mrs. B I. Noble will chaperon the
party and Hal Halsted is in charge
of arrangements.
