Walter Piflum went west this

pheasants and the entire chapter

Delia Zela Celebrates
Founders Day.
Delta Zeta celebrated the 34th
anniversary of its founding with a
banquet at the city Y. V. C. A.
Out of town guests at the banquet
were Mrs. Bernard Malcolm of
Omaha and Mrs. E. Staplcton of
Los Angeles. Thirty members of
the active and alumnae chapters
were present at the celebration.
Fleet wood-Wright.
Wednesday, Oct. 28, Marian
Fleetwood and Flavel Wright of
Lincoln were married at the home
of the bride's parents. Mrs.
Wright is a graduate of the uni- j
vcrsity and is a member of Kappa
Alpha Theta. Mr. Wright is a
graduate of the University of Ne
braska law college and is affili
ated with Phi Kappa Psi.

Sehool Visitors.
Thirty architectural drawings,
among which are the two prize
pieces of last year, will be on ex
hibit for the teachers of the state
convention in the rooms of the
architecture department Thurs
day, Friday and Saturday. The
works will include the plan, sec
tion, elevation and plot plan of
the buildings colored appropriate
ly to the type of structure.
The two first ranking pieces of
last year, a plan for a mausoleum
by Paul Rador, junior in the en
gineering college, and a plan for
a suburban fire and police sta
tion, the work of Ben Mariska,
will be placed in the permanent
collection of the architectural li
brary following the exhibition.

The whole-hearted attention
paid by the audience was ample
testimony to the quality of the
performance given by Sylvia Cole
Diers yesterday afternoon in the
Temple theater. This is especial
ly significant considering the rest
lessness usually prevailing at
these student convocations.
The entire program was made
up of selections which have had
little exposition in these parts.
"Scbben, crudele," by Caldera of
the early 18th century, and Von
Fielitz's "Das sterbende Kind,"
based on the story of der Erl
koenig, were the outstanding mu
sical gems presented. The num
ber attracting the most attention
