Lambertus's record was the only
first place won by Nebraska all
afternoon. As predicted previous
to the meet, the Huskers relied on
seconds and thirds for their points.
Kansas took ten first places out
of the sixteen events on the pro
gram, and Oklahoma won three.
Nebraska outscored each of their
opponents in the list of minor

pleased with his men. having se

meet, and Nebraska for second.
A slight southerly wind aided
the sprinters and hurdlers, but
hindered the distance men in their
attempts on records. Any made in
the lesser runs would not have
counted as marks.
