WITH SO MUCH TROUBLE IN THE
Vanhelloiiirt council meeting's nbout 1 he
new rush rules, it would seem that there
is more interest in rushing this year than
ihere has been for some time. Already
the rush chairmen are busy getting lists
and making plans, and it looks as if the
summer will be a busy one for sorority
members. Heated discussions concerning
the abvisability of the several sugges
tions which have been presented have
been going on in most all the houses, and
the biggest difficulty seems to be that
whatever is finally decided upon will not meet the approval
of everyone.

ALMOST ALU of the sororities
have chosen their rush chairmen
for the coining year. Georgetts
for the coming year altho the lists
Kimsey was selected by the Alpha
Chis, and Janice Campbell by the
Alpha Delta Thetas. Lorraine
Hitchcock will have charge of
rushing for the Alpha Os, and
Janice Kiilian for the Alpha Xi
Delta. The Chi Os have chosen
Irma Leonard, and Irma B tuer
will be the Tri Delt chairman. Lu
cille Reilly is the Delta Gamma
rush chairman, and Helen Runkcl
the Delta Zeta's.
Mary Janet McGeachin Is in
charge of the Pi Phi rushing, and
Faith Arnold will arrange it for
the Thetas. The Kappas have chos
en Virginia Sellcck. and Cathlcen
Long was selected by the Phi Mus.
Gwendolyn Meyerson is the Sigma
Delta Tau rush chairman, and
Carol Robinson is the Gamma Phi
chairman.

entertained the seniors at a picnic
at Van Dorn park. Mrs. Clarence
Toohey was chairman of the com
mittee, which was composed of

who stayed at the chapter house.
Mrs. Kistler who left Monday lives
in Lawrence, Kas.

and Vantine James of Nebraska
City, Chi Phi, will be married. Miss
Mason is a graduate of the univer
sity, and Mr. James of the law col
lege. AND IN THE latter part of May
Miss Marie McGrale will be mar
ried to Raymond Smith of Omaha.

here.
AND THE date for the A. T. O.
round-up banquet to be held at th
Lincoln Country club has been set
for May 26.
New officers have been elected
at the Zeta Beta Tau house. The
new president is Edwin Speier;
vice president is Alvin Berkowitz;
Bernard Galitzki is treasurer; sec
retary ia Lloyd Friedman; and the
historian, is Albert Stein.
