Little interest was manifested in
the races for various offices of Ag
club. Only Til voles were cast.
John Lowcnstcin, Farm House, is
the new president, having- been un
opposed on Thursday's ballot.
Howard White, Farm House and
varsity track man, showed unex
pected strength in the vice presi
dent contest. He won over Bill
Waldo, Alpha Gamma Rho, by a
comfortable margin. Waldo is an
outstanding student on the cam
pus and active in student affairs.
For the second time Elmer Par
lik, Farm House, was clectod to
an office in the club. He won out
last week. Thursday members of
the club elected him treasurer for
the coming year.
A barb candidate, Bill Donahue,
was victorious in the race for sec
lead over his opponent. Donahue

Tho Thursday election culmi
nated a prolonged election cam
paign on the agricultural college
campus. Farm House and the
barbs were linked together in
forces which enabled them to land
all offices.
It is doubtful if another "repeat"
election will be necessary on the
campus in future jears, student
leaders of all factions say. Rules
for such contests in years to come
will comply with recommendations
made by the ag executive board
and the faculty election commit
tee.
CAPITOL BEACH TO OPEN
All-University Nights Will
Be Sponsored Mondays
And Tuesdays.
Capitol Beach, newly renovated
and redecorated, will open Satur
day, May 20 under the manage
ment of San Slusky, veteran in the
Amusement Park business. Eddie
Jungbluth and his orchestra will
play for the opening, which will
reveal a number of new additions
and improvements,
Ted Cooper, who is well known
in Lincoln, will be In charge of the
ballroom where All-University
nights will be sponsored on Mon
days and Tuesdays. Eddie Jung
bluth's dance band will play at
these affairs.
