Schools Debate Phases of
Economic System at
Saturday Meet.
Dean J. K. Le Rossignol, College
of Business Administration, will
present the alternatives to our
present economic system at the fi
nal session of the conference to be
held this morning". Meredith Nel
son will conclude the meeting by.
conducting a discussion on "What
Shall we do About It?"

economic conference held at Kllen
Smith hall Saturday and Sunday.

out of town. Midlad and Hastings
colleges, Teni State normal ana
Kearney State normal were well
represented.
"Is the Tresent Keonomic Sys
tem Defficient?" was the theme
carried out during the entire con
ference. Rev. Ray Hunt gave the
opening address Saturday at 9
o'clock. The first debate was given
by Midland colltge and York col
lege on the topic "Is our present
economic system responsible - for
the recurring periods of business
depression?" Alfred Adams con
ducted the open forum held imme
diately after the debate.
Mr. Charles Grey and Miss
Vivian Willis of the university sub
stituted on the team. Viola Vail
lead the discussion following this
debate.
