A Christmas cartv at the Stu
dent Activity Building on the Ag
Campus will be the main event ior
students in that college. Lutheran
Students will be guests at a party
given by the First Lutheran
church.
Ag Students' Party.
Tlie annual Ag Christmas party
will be held on Friday night at
eight o'clock. The party will be
under the direction of the Ag Exec
utive board with Jess Livingston,
in direct charere of the affair. The
party will be in the Student Ac
tivities building.
The Salem choir of Milford will
sing for the party, with Albert
Ebers directing. The Rev. Flay E.
Hunt will speak on "What Christ
mas Means to Me." Carols will
be sung and Santa Claus will dis
tribute presents to prominent Ag
college students and faculty mem
bers. "Silent Night" by the au
dience will complete the program.
Tanksterettes Swim.
Tanksterettes, women's swim
ming club, are giving a party Sat
urday. Dec. 17 from 12 to 2
o'clock at the University coli
seum in honor of the tnirteen new
members. Lunch will be served
at 2 o'clock after the members and
their guests have enjoyed an
hours frolic in tne water, mose
wishing to attend are to make re
servations with Maxine Packwood,
who is in charge of the arrange
ments.

The topic on which Mr. R. F.
Crawford spoke at the Theta
Sigma Phi meeting Tuesday eve-nine-

A Jack Frost frolic is the theme
of the house -dance which the ac
giving in honor of Delta Zeta are

orchestra will play for the dancing,
and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Berry,
with Mrs. Eloise Tebbetts will be
chaperones.
Following the presentation of
"The Messiah" at the Coliseum
Sunday, members of the Ag fac
ulty, Ag staff and A members of
the Y.W.C.A. will meet at Ellen
Smith hall Sunday, Dec. 18, for a
Christmas tea from 4:30 to 6
o'clock. The tea, sponsored by the
Ag staff, will carry out the" inter
national theme; negro spirituals
will be sung, and Chinese poems
will be read.
Emma Feith and Miss Miller
will pour, and Valentine Klotz is
general chairman. Other chairmen
are Arlene Bors, who has charge
of the program; May Svoboda, in
charge of decorations; Helen
Smrha, refreshments; Bee Donald
son, entertainment and publicity,

Delta Chi fraternity was louna
ed at Cornell university Oct. 13,
1890, and at present has forty ac
tive chapters and a membership of
10,000. The fraternity's iNeorasKa
chapter was founded in lyoy.
McLean Hall was founded on the
Nebraska campus four years ago
with the status of a local iraier
nitv. Tt has made a steadv climb
in prestige on the campus, making
third in scholarship among Ne
braska fraternities the past semes
ter. Secretary Will Conduct
Series of Study Groups
A series of study groups on ' The
Life of Jesus," will be held twice
each week from Christmas until
Easter under the direction of Miss
Bernice Miller, Y. W. C. A. secre
tary. One of the groups will meet on
Fridays from 4 to 5:30 o'clock, and
the other on Sundays from 9 to
10:30. Each group will be com
posed of girls who must register
with Miss Miller before vacation.
