is the marriage of Mls Olga El
len Sharp, daughter of Mr. and

C. Steele, son of Mr. and
Mrs. J. S. Steele of Kimball, which
took place Sept. 3. The bride,
who is a graduate of the Univer
sity of Nebraska and a member of
Delta Zeta sorority, Is studying
for her master's degree at Oie uni
versity. Mr. Steele attended Hast
ings college and is now a senior
in the engineering college at this
university. He is affiliated with
Delta Sigma Lambda and Sigma
Tau.
Aurora Girl Marries
Kappa Sigma Alumnus.
Miss Sylvia Howard, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Howard of
Ashland, and Robert J. Nlebuhr,
son of Henry C. Nlebuhr of Au
rora, 111., were married at Aurora.
Neb. Sept 1. Mrs. Nlebuhr has at
tended Doane college and the Lin
coln School of Commerce, and Mr.
Nlebuhr Is a University of Ne
braska graduate and a member of
Kappa Sigma fraternity.

The marriage of Miss Emily
Holdrege, daughter of Mr. and

Omaha, to James A. McKamy of

day afternoon at the First Uni
tarian church in Omaha. Mrs. Mc

Japanese Theme Is
Predominant at Party.
Beta Phi Alpha entertained a
number of rushees at a party Fri
day night, September 16, at the
chapter. The Japanese theme was
carried out In the program given
and in the refreshments which
were served In the form of a tray
lunch. The house waa lighted by
Japanese candles and Incense bur
ners were placed in several of the
Toorns. About forty attended the
rrty.
Theta Phi Alpha
Mothers Meet.
Theta Phi Alpha Mothers club
met at the chapter house, with
twelve members In attendance.
The group made plans for the
year's work and voted to meet the
third Friday of each month. Mrs.
Catherine Farley, the house
mother, acted as hostess for the
afternoon.
Fraternity Elects
Officers for Year.
Sigma Alpha Mu has elected
the following officers for the ensu
ing term: Henry Chait. prior; Jack
