Herman Brix, national record holder and champion, tops the shot put entries with Paul Jessup, claimant of the world record in the discus, featuring the men here for the latter event. A dozen javelin throwers who cast the spear better than 200 feet are in the spectacular javelin event. Among the leaders are Jimmy DeMers, national record holder and champion, and Kenneth Churchill, I. C. 4-A and N. C. A. A. champion. The Saturday night relays promise to be a spectacular event.
