Lincoln Hinh Reunion
At Shrine Club.
The class of '27 of Lincoln high
school held their annual reunion at
the Shrine Country club Tuesday
evening with fifty in attendance.
Kuth Hatfield, past president, pre
luded iluvinT the evening. Dancing
followed the picnic supper and a
meeting, with election of officers,
ended with the choosing of the fol
lowing persons as class heads for
the coming year: President, Art
Danielson, and secretary, Frank
Koehl. The class sponsor, Miss
Annetta Sprung, with the newly
elected officers, will plan the picnic
for next year.
Sigma Kappa is keeping her
traditional Parents' Day on May
3. All the parents of the actives
and pledges will be guests of
honor at dinner.
Rhona Smith has transferred her
membership from Sigma chapter
of Alpha Chi Omega at Iowa City,
la., to Xi chapter. Her affiliation
with Xi chapter was formally rec
ognized Monday night, April 27.
Members of Delta Gamma have
issued invitations for a Parents'
Day dinner Sunday, May 10.
Jack Houch of Omaha and Carl
Willard of Grand Island represent
ed the Alpha chapter of Phi Delta
Theta at the annual convention of
Mu province. The convention was
held at St. Louis.

Sacrifice Once Offered'
Be Presented at
Fairbury.
Wesley Players, religious dra
matic organization of Methodist
students of the University of Ne
braska, will close their season by
a presentation of the three act
drama. "A Sacrifice Once Offered''
Sunday evening at Fairbury M. K.
church.
The players during this season
have appeared before audiences at
Waverly, Raymond. Milford, North
Platte, Grand Island, Friend, Sy
racuse, David City. Eagle, Green
wood, and St. Paul M. E.. Grace
M. E. and First M. E., Lincoln.
The combined audiences before
whom the group has appeared in
religious drama numbers between
eight and nine thousand people.
Some additions in the way of
costume and lighting have been
secured during this year. Flood
lights built by a member of the
group, have added much to the
productions.
Miss Caroline Cooper has served
as president thruout the year.
President elect for the coming
year is George Schmid, who has
taken an active part for the last
three years in the work of the
players.
The cast which will appear in
the play Sunday evening include
Russell Lindskog. Carolyn Cooper,
Oliver Kibben, Lloyd Watt, Inge
borg Nielsen, Charles Greer, Mil
dred Johnson, Jeanette Hollander.
Irving Walker, George Schmid and
Norman Peters. The advisor is
Rev. W. C. Fawell.
The Epworth League at Fair
bury, preceding the presentation
of the play will be in charge of
Rev. Fawell, who will discuss with
the young people the question,
"What is Religion?" He will also
have charge and preach at the
morning service of the Methodist

ing at the regular hour of worship.
