He compared the junior college
movement in America with that in
Europe, pointing out that the
equivalent of high school training
there includes courses taught in
American junior colleges.
"Why we permit instructors to
teach subjects about which they
know little or nothing in our sec
ondary schools," he declared.
"American educators should study
schools of Germany, France and
England that they might equal
their schools in efficiency and ad
vancement." Dr. Hedrick was the guest of
honor at the All-Men's Stag picnic
at Seward Wednesday evening and
left Lincoln Thursday morning.
