they dropped a 87-33 decision to
Iowa State. The perfection of the
play of Lande, Cyclone captain,
was the chief reason for the Hus
ker downfall, the Ames star getting
18 points to bis credit.
Coach Black started with bis
second stringers who stayed in ihe
game for the entire first half. The
count stood 20 to 15 at the halfway
point. The reserves were relieved
by Pisher, Grace. Maclay, Wine
and Lewandowski, who soon
evened things up. but the efforts of
Captain Iande could not be denied.
The playing of both quints was
extremely fast throughout the
game, but a marked inability to
complete offensive drives showed
in both teams. Fisher was high
point man for Nebraska with 10
points.
