RACES SLATED
FOR WEDNESDAY
Hare and bgund races will be
run Wednesday of this week In
stead or Tuesday as they were last
week. Hereafter the races will al
ternate each week on Tuesday and
Wednesday just as was done last
year. This arrangement makes It
possible Tor more men to take part,
in the races because they (It Into
their rerlfation hours better.
All men must be ready to go at

dio party given yesterday ' after
noon in the coliseum, where a play
by play account, of the Ames-Nebraska
football game was broad
casted. The report- of the game came to
Lincoln by a specially leased wire
and the reports were announced
thru the public address system of
the collreum to the crowd.
Before and during the game, Ne
braska yells, led by Chick Uox,
cheer king, were broadcasted. A
small band, led by William Quick,
It O. T. 0. band leader added in
the entertainment of the crowd, as
well as helplngwlth the cheers.
A score board, with the lineups,
position of the ball on the field,
and the score by quarters was on
the stage, keeping the crowd fully
Informed as to the progress of the
game, and who was playing. Carl
Olson was In charge of the board.

Honorary Colonel brought forth
the usual number of filings, with
four in the contest and with a pos
sibility of two others being eli
gible. Eligibility of Caroline Dodge
and Lorma Hawkins has not been
determined definitely as yet, as the
