Vote Taken Elsewhere.
A vote such as this is being taken
in many prominent colleges and uni

Eastern colleges have accepted it al
most unanimously; Harvard Univer
sity will take a poll on Sunday, March
18. R. S. Bailey, editor of The In
dependent,' is assisting colleges in
carrying out the "straw vote."
The names that will appear on the
ballot are : W. E. Borah, Charles Cur
tis, C. G. Dawes, V. Donehey, H.
Hoover, C. E. Hughes, F. O. Lowden,
R. T. Meridith, G. W. Norris, J,

Underwood, T. J. Walsh, and F. B.
Willis.
The voter will be asked to tell his
party preference and that of his fa

be requested to tell his major study,
and what year in the University.
Only one choice will be allowed.

zation for the second year. Mr. John
son is taking second year work in
the College of Law.
David Fellman, also a member of
Delta Sigma Rho, is a junior in the
College of Arts and Sciences. He has
had considerable experience in the
field of argumentation, being a grad
uate of Omaha Central high school
where he was actively engaged in
debate.
As has been stated, all of Nebras
ka's debates this season have been
of the open forum type. The debaters
have contested with other universi
ties and colleges in towns outside of
Lincoln where an interested audi
ence could be reached. According to
a member of the squad, they feel
that a mistaken idea has been held
that university students were more
concerned over the debates than out
siders. It seems, however, that by
holding debates in other cities a lar
ger number of interested persons
may be reached.
A New Science for
Thinking People
"The natural Laws of Life" have
always operated to control human

studied as a science.
"Natural Way" products are a re

These products are based on the
natural need3 of cell life. They con

most required for perfect life and
health.
Thinking people who would like to

THE most important problem that confronts seniors during
their last semester in school is choosing the "job" that will
begin when campus days arc over. To make the right start in the
business world is the ambition of every college man. And most
men with foresight and vision realize that it does not matter so
much where they start or what they do, as long as there is a good
chance for future advancement.
To college men of that type the S. S. Kresge Company offers
exactly that sort of an opportunity. We are picking college trained
men for our future store managers. These men begin at the bottom
and are thoroughly schooled in Kresge methods of store operation.
They are given experience in every department of our rapidlf
expanding business, and when their training is completed, they
are placed in charge of our stores dignified positions that carry
incomes above the average.
If you think that you can fill our requirements and are willing to
work hard and study our buu2nes3, writs to our personnel depart
ment. A graduate of your own college who has found his future
in our organization will be sent to see you.
