of Mechanical Engineers.
Dean Potter is a personal friend of
Dean Ferguson, and it was through
the efforts of Dean Ferguson that
the committee was able to get such
a prominent man as Dean Potter to
address the banquet.
Many Entertainment Features
In addition to the address by Dean
Potter, the committee headed by
Theodore Blaschke has arranged
several other features for entertain
ment. The "Sledge", official scandal
sheet of the engineers, -will be dis
tributed. Following the regular cus
tom, the name of the editor will not
be made public.
Sigma Tau will make the scholar
ship award, and will present a pic
ture of the man elected to the Hall
of Fame. This picture will be placed
in the Hall of Fame in M. E. build
ing. A scholarship award in the civil
engineering department will be made
by Clark E. Mickey, chairman of
that department.
Ed Jolley, '27, General Engineers'
Week Chairman, has made arrange
ments to have Tommy Tompkin's
Cornhuskers furnish the music for
the banquet.

vessels and the finer tissues.
The last feature of entertainment
for the evening was music furnished
by the Pharmaceutical orchestra in
the large lecture room on the main
floor. A favor, compounded by the
students of the College of Pharmacy,
was presented each guest upon leav
ing the building.
A University of Minnesota student
orchestra will tour the Orient this
summer.
