Manager Harris insists on buying only the best of food products, on keeping them Icleaiv on having them cooked properly, and served quickly and courteously; but ho does not try to tell you what you should or should not eat. Thnt is a question for you or your physician to decide. If all people ate exactly the same food and in about the same quantities, keeping a res taurant would be as standardiz ed as selling postage stamps. But the old saying, "What is one man's meat is another's poi son," is as true today as when first said. And this keeps the manager constantly on the look out for a great variety of food, so that you may make your choice according to your desires or "doctor's orders. As a general rule, if your ap petite is normal, your likes and dislikes will be your best guide. So one of Manager Harris' slo gans is, "Food Cooked as You Like It." The Central Cafe's daily mimeographed menu usually contains about 72 items of food to be served, and is issued twice each day. It covers, Soups, Fish, Entrees, Roasts, Cold Meats, Relishes, Salads, and Desserts.
