varsity squad this year. Sigma Phi
Epsilon, second place winners last
year, are as strong this year as last
if not stronger, but they too lost
tn the varsity. Delta Upsilon will
be heard from in the meet. They
have a number of veterans from last
year plus a group ol promising Iresh
mpn. Alpha Sigma Phi always fur
niahes dangerous competeition and
will make a strong bid for first hon
ors. Pi Kappa Alpha, who won third
place last year as Bushnell Guild,
will be strong too.
The meet begins under better con
ditions than the second annual meet
.ntwlucted last spring. The interfra-
ternity track meet at that time was
posteponed four or five times from
the middle of the winter until the
middle of spring.
