Champions.
DEVOTED TO INTERESTS
OF VALLEY ATHLETICS
The opening number of Missouri

Valley athletics, was issued Friday at
Kansas City and will be distributed

high score. The Alpha Sigs showed
a better offense in the last half and
pulled away from their opponents;
the final count was 14 to 3.
Acacia Beats Pi Kaps.
Acacia looked good against the Pi
Kappa Phi quintet but showed many
rough spots. Their superiority over
the Pi Kappas was undoubted, but
the losers clayed miserably all the
i
time. Toft, an Acacia, Vd his team
mates with six goals.
Omega Beta Pi won decisively over
Alpha Theta CbJ by a score of 24-8.
The winners were practically assured
of victory throughout the contest,
What little defense Alpha Theta Chi
had, crumbled during the Becond half
mnA their oDDonents steDned out in
front with lone strides.
Kappa Sigma in defeating the Phi
AlDha Deltas showed some good team
work and a fair defense. Hill, guard,
counted five goals for -a majority of
his team's points. The P. A. D
showed little stuff and did a great
deal of roughing. The last battle was
the most replete with fouls.
Grace of the Silver Lynx team is
still hifch-point man of the tourney
with sixteen points to his credit. Toft,
Acacia, Andreason, Sigma Alpha tp
silon, and Dickey, Phi Delta Chi, are
tied for second honors with twelve
points apiece.
