Missouri Will Meet Cornhuskers Under Disadvantage of Tradition When the Missouri Tiger, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers play at Stadi um field Saturday, the Tigers will be working under at least the disad vantage of tradition. In the seven teen games that the two teams have played, Nebraska has won thirteen, Missouri three, and one resulted in a tie score. Not uince 1899 have the Tigers defeated the Huskers. This year, though, it seems that the Missouri team has the best chance to add a victory to its list than it has had for several years. Undefeated so far, the Tigers will enter the con test with a determination to keep their slate clean and to win the championship of the Missouri Valley eonferenca A special train bearing Missouri rooters to cheer their team will ar rive in Lincoln Saturday morning. A section for the Tiger fans has been reserved by the Nebraska athletic management. Another event of the day will be Dads' Day, and Nebraska students and their dads will attend a noon luncheon and the football game in the afternoon. The Tigers will fight all the hard er Saturday to teat the team that has conquered them every year since be fore 1900. Last year the Tigers held Nebraska to a 7-to-7 tie, the first time in the history of the schools that a tie score has been the result. In the seventeen games, the Corn huskers have rolled up a total of 375 points to the Tigers 79. The last time the Tigers were victorious, in 1899, the score was 11 to 0. I S2MS Yesterday while I was in Rudge & Guenzel's I decided what I was going to give to several of my girl friends for Christmas. I was just walking along the main aisle onthe sec ond floor and noticed a whole counter full of the cutest RIBBON NOVEL TIES. They were so rea sonably priced I decided right then to buy some for Christmas gifts, while there were so many things to select from. They have Powder Puffs, Ribbon Pin-ons for Underwear, Sachet Bags, Garters, Puffs on Sticks for powdering the back and other little novelties that will make adorable gifts. They're something that every girl wants, and yet one seldom buys such things for oneself. The price depends of course on the article and ranges from 50c to $2. They are so neatly made, and so ex quisitely designed that you can not afford to bother trying to make them yourself when the cost is so small. There is a big display of these RIBBON NOV ELTIES at Rudge & Guenzd's on the Second Floor in the case right by the elevator and in the Ribbon Department on the Street Floor. iH!I!ii!!iI!li!!!i:H!!!!!H!n!i!i!l!!!!!:!!i:ilI!!!S!li!I!il!H!
