Nebraska goes to the meet strong in the middle distances, the hurdles, and the shotput of the field events, In the other track and field events it will be a toss up who wins. Kansas will be especially strong in the dashes and the shorter relays. BAEBALL SQUAD TO LEAVE FOR KANSAS Team Will Play Two-Game Se ries With Aggies This vWeek. The Cornhusker baseball team leaves for Manhattan at 7 o'clock to morrow morning to play two return games with the Kansas Aggies on Friday and Saturday. The two game series here last week was an even break and it is expected that the com petition at Manhattan will be keen. Coach Kline intimated that the lineup would probably be the same as last week except that Locke may re place Bell at Short B. Lang will pitch the game Friday and Rhodes, the Husker southpaw, will go on the mound Saturday. Hubka, who has been alternating behind the bat with E. Lang, had his fingers smashed in a car door and will be out of the game for at least a week. Poole, another catcher, con tracted a throat ailment while on the trip south during spring vacation and has not been able to play since then. This means that Lang will have to do all the catching for the Huskers for the next few weeks. . Locke, Bloodgood and Rhodes are at Lawrence today for the dual meet with the Jayhawkers. They will go to Manhattan and meet the ball club there. ' The next home game is May 18, when the Huskers meet Meiji Univer sity of Tokio, Japan. Oklahoma also comes here for a two game series on May 21 and 22. GIVE GUP TO WINNER OF APPARATUS MATCH Present Award to Jessie Hiett, the Winner of the Fourth Annual Contest.
