A girl may love, love, love to
dance but there isn't a girl who
doesn't get some good pleasure
from taking inventory of the
other girls' frocks while she's
whirling about. One who par
ticularly dotes on it tells me
that chiffon frocks are tre
mendously popular. They
would be, to judge from the
prettiness of those that are at
Rudge & Guenzel's.
Nothing so pretentious has ever
been attempted in Lincoln. There
will be five dance orchestras includ
ine Paul Zimm and his Chicagoans
and fifteen vaudeville acts including
seven Orpheum Circuit acts, it win
be the nieht of nights, the season's
biggest event. Doors will open at
10:30 and the frolic will start at 11
p. m. Tickets per couple $1 single
admission 50c plus tax. Adv.
Maver Bros. Home of The
"Sweetheart" Bob, The
Latest Coiffure.
The "Sweetheart" bob! Sounds in
teresting, doesn't it, and it is just as
interesting as it looks. The idea is to
cut the hair so that the face re
sembles a heart, in shape only, of
course, and you'd be surprised just
how attractive it really is. This new
idea was brought to Lincoln by an
other new barber who has just
arrived at Mayer Bros., from Chicago
Mr. O'Connor brought the Hollywood
bob from Hollywood and J. L. Quinn
brings the "Sweetheart" bob from
the east.
It adds a great dsal of interest to
the face and makes the hair unusu
ally good looking. Try the "Sweet
heart" bob the next time your hair
needs cutting, Milady, and see if you
don't like it as well or better than
any you have had so far. Mr. .Quinn
is an expert barber and knows how
to cut your hair to suit your head
and your face. Many merely cut hair
but Mr. Quinn has an artistic touch
that makes even ordinary hair look
simply wonderful. Adv.
