HIGH LEAP COMES TO DRAW WITH JAYHAWK Turner of Nebrnska tied for first with Poore of Kansas in the running high jump, with a record of 6 feet 3-4 inches at the Illinois relays at Urbana, yesterday. Rhodes of Ne braska placed sixth in the all round running championship. Michigan and Northwestern took first and second places respectively in the 2 mile university relays. Cor nell won the 2 mile college relays. Places in the all around running championship were made as follows: Jones, DcPauw, first; Hamman, Wis consin, second; Johnson, Tittsburg, third; Graham, Kansas, fourth; Wild man, Illinois, fifth; Rhodes. Nebras ka, sixth. Final tryouts for the Cornhuslter track team which will compete in the Missouri Valley indoor meet March 8 and 9 will be held Monday after noon on the board track in the sta dium. The tryouts will begin at 3:30. Dean E. A. Grubb of the College of Dentistry left Friday for Chicago to attend the meetings March 1, 2 and 3, called to close the business of the Dental Faculties association of American Universities.
