MAKE PRELIMINARY
PLANS FOR PARTY
All-University Valentine Mixer
Will Be Held Saturday
Evening in Armory.
Committees Tuesday afternoon
started work on preliminary plans for
the All-University Valentine party
which will be held at the Armory
Saturday night at 8:15. Final plans
wil be completed at a meeting of
the general committee Thursday af
ternoon. It has been decided to decorate the
hall in Nebraska colors with paper
hearts intertwined with the stream
ers. Arrangements are being made
for a number. of entertainment fea
tures. Leap year dances will be used
to vary the program. Music will be
furnished by the Candy Kids Orches
tra. The only other all-university pro
gram will be the Spring party in
March. Kenneth Cozier, chairman,
is calling attention to the fact that
the price of the party is much less
than must be spent for dancing at
other places.

Organizations connected with the
Law College or the Teachers College
cannot reserve space in the Cornhus-
ker nor schedule group pictures after
Friday noon. Announcement of the
closing of these two sections' was
made last night by the staff. All the
pictures for these two sections along
with the Arts and Science and Agri
culture sections must be sent to the
engravers this week-end.
The staff is closing the sections
by the order in which they will ap
pear in the book. A large number
of pictures already have been sent to
the bureau of engraving at Minne
apolis where the work is being done.
The organizations in the law col
lege that have spoken for sppace are:
Phi Delta Phi, Phi Alpha Delta,
Delta Theta Phi, Senate Club.
Those in the Teacher college that
have applied for space are: Phi
Delta Kappa, Pi Lambda Theta,
Gamut Club, Kindergarten Primary
Club.
George Pardee is the editor of the
law section and Margaret Wattles is
in charge of the Teacher's College
section. Other organizations in these
colleges that have not made their
reservations should do' so at once
with their college editor or with
the managing editor in the Comius
ker office.
