our way back here. Pal, I think we've

Dean' R. A. Lyman of the College
of Pharmacy has been named a mem
ber of the advisory committee ap
pointed by the American Conference
of Pharmaceutical Faculties to assist
Dr. W. W. Chambers of Pittsburgh,
Pa., in his study of pharmaceutical
education in the United States from a
functional point of view.
The trustees of the Carnegie Com
monwealth Fund for Industrial Re
search have appropriated $9,000 for
the coming year, and $15,000 for the
following year to be devoted to this
work. Dean Lyman is to serve in the
department of physiology and pharm
acology. Other members of the com
mittee are Dr. Rusby of Columbia
University, Dr. Dye of Ohio State
University, and Dean Rudd of the
University of Virginia.
