The Burlington railroad reported

from Omaha to Lincoln last Saturday.
It was estimated that 2,400 tickets
for Lincoln were sold to Omahans: A
Burlington man who went east on the
11 o'clock train said that the roads
were lined with cars bound for Lin
coln and the football came.
Lincoln is getting back some of her
liberal contributions to the stadium
influx of fans every fall, Burlington
officials say. One who has helped
handle these crowds, says, "Lincoln
and the University ought to appre
ciate the interest taken in these
games by Omaha people. The stadium
is bound to be the bicirest thin ever
built in Lincoln and everybody should
help to get the most out of it.

In the west, California clinched the
coast title for the fourth successive

It is remarkable that the last four
game California has won three by 9

In the Bouth, Centre vanquished
Washington and Lee 19 to 0. Ala

In the east Yale won a decisive
victory over Harvard 13 to 0, on a
rain-soaked field. Last Saturday's

Judging Team Now
on Way to Chicago
The livestock judging team that
represents Nebraska at the interna
tional stock show at Chicago Decem
ber 1, is on its way. The men who
are making the trip are Gaylord B.
Hattan, Dean Higgins, Clyde Walker,
and Alfred Daniels. F. Burdette Wil
kinson goes along as an alternate.
The coach, W. J. Loeffel, will take
the team to Ames for a few days'
practice judging, and then they will
visit many of the foremost American
stock farms about Chicago until the
day of the Bhow.

In the Missouri Valley contests

sides Nebraska, Ames, playing Grin-
nel, won 13 to 6, and the Kansas Ag

21 to 20.
Illinois and Michigan Tied.
In the Bie Ten conference, Illinois
won from Ohio State. 9 to 0. The
Buckeyes always put up a stiff scrap
against the Illini and Saturday's
game was no exception. Once Ohio
State had the ball on Illinois one-foot
line but where unable to score in
three downs. Not until the fourth
ouarter did State weaken and per
mit Grange, Illinois star half, to go
over for a touchdown.
Michigan also came through unde
feated, taking a 10 to 0 victory over
Minnesota. Martineau and Kipke,
rival captains, both playing their last
game at halfback, were the individual
stars of the game, repeatedly bring
ing the spectators to their feet with
brilliant runs and smashes.
In another Big Ten contest Iowa
was given the time of her life in
winning from Northwestern 17 to 14.
The came was closely contested thru-
out and did not show the Iowans to
be of their old-time calibre. Indiana
won from Purdue 3 to 0. Chicago
won from Wisconsin 13 to 6 in one of
