Additional meetings must be held be fore 8 p. m. or on Friday or Satur day night. All University parties, formal and informal, shall close not later than 11:30 p. m. All parties where women are pre sent shall be officially chaperoned. Notice of such parties shall be given to the dean of women and the names of the chaperones submitted to her for approval at least two days in ad vance, preferably on Monday pre ceding the party. At all entertain ments not given in private homes or organization houses, members of the University faculty are to be included chaperone parties. Mr. Selleck discussed the follow ing rules: The number of complimentary tickets issued by any organization is limited to five in addition to those for the chaperones. Any number in excess of this amount must have the approval of the chairman of studen organizations. The names of the holders of complimentary tickets must in each case be published in the Daily Nebraskan in advance of the party. Also it is understood that complimentary tickets are issued with the agreement that in the event that the party creates a deficit the holders of complimentary tickets pay for them at the regular price. No class or other organization of students of the University of Nebras ka shall be permitted to give any en tertainment of any character which requires expense or charges admis sion until former debts contracted by said class or organization of students have been paid in full. The agentj, of student activities shall have authority to require an or ganization to file a financial state ment showing the estimated expense of revenue of a proposed activity. If, in his judgement, the activity is unsound he may require the placing of a bond guaranteeing payment of any deficit before the organization ENGINEERING SOCIETY MEETS AT NEBRASKA Kansas-Nebraska Section As sembles in Lincoln Friday and Saturday. The Kansas-Nebraska section of the Society for Promotion of Engin eering Education will hold its annu al meeting at the University of Ne braska beginning with a session this evening at 8 o'clock in room 206 of ihe Mechanical Engineering building. The subject for discussion at this opening session will be "Research as a Means of Developing Young Teach ers." The second session of the annual meeting wil be held tomorrow morn ing at 8 o'clock in the Agricultural Engineering hall on the Agricultural College campus. The subject for dis cussion Saturday is to be "Summer Employment for Engineering In structors." This meeting will ad journ in time to allow those present to take part in the new Memorial Stadium dedication at the city campus. Large representations are expect ed to attend these sessions from the Kansas State Agricultural College and from the University of Kansas. The annual engineering conference was set at this time to enable repre sentatives to make a single trip with the football contest as an added attraction. Tho Instructors in the operative department of the college held their weekly study-club Wednesday at tho clinic. The purpose of this club is to enable them to standardize their ideas of instruction and demonstra tion. A meeting is held every week and tho results of them are, seen in the co-operation and uniformity of the students work. The Dental Students' Association also met Tuesday night. This was the first meeting of the year, and plans concerning the policies of the association for the year were dis cussed. Altho nothing definite was decided upon, arrangements were made for the game Saturday, and the Dental College will attend one-hun dred percent strong. This is to be accomplished by holding clinic only from ten to twelve in the morning and from 12:30 to 1:30 during the noon hour. ' Attend the Rally Tonight!
