An extra effort today will send the foot ball man over the line for a touchdown. This is the last day. A little extra planning, a little more effort, and there will be a ticket or you. No one offers the objection of the price. Everyone is willing to buy if there is any possible opportunity. Those who are not wearing the badge are sadly outnumbered. They are not supporting Nebraska. There are reasons for not buying. Such reasons are recognized. But the point is buy a ticket and make that touchdown. WHAT YOU HEAR. Every day you have the opportun ity to hear men lecture, men who have spent many years in an effort to present their chosen work. They make a sincere and honest effort to investigate various sources for new information, to give you the advan tage of changes in their field. With that much their part of the effort is done. What are you doing to appreciate their work? Do you need to be driven to study by threats? Everyone likes to think of the ideal institution. No one cares to admit that there is a great amount of wasted effort in state universities. Making the better institution is part of your opportunity. Advice is to avail yourself of it. OKLAHOMA IS COMING. At 11:30 o'clock today, the Okla homa football squad will arrive in Lincoln. Last year when the Comhuskers went south to meet the Sooners, stu dents there had planned a special program of welcome and carried it through with a great measure of success. The Innocents are sponsoring a program for the visitors this year. Any student having a car at his dis posal for two hours Saturday morn ing, would be doing a great favor to Nebraska if he would help take the visitors on & sightseeing trip. Oklahoma'sw eleome last year has not been forgotten. Be at the Rock Island station at 11:30 today to meet Oklahoma. It will be just a little extra effort and will be very much appreciated. ONE ON YOU. Did you ever go to a party not feeling especially well, but when you got there everyone greeted you with a smile and you felt better, and made wise cracks, and everybody laughed, so you pulled all your good ones together with some not so good, and they all laughed heartily till you found yourself to be the life of the rrty; and your cranium expanded and continued expanding till you reached home and found you had not tucked in all your shirt?
