At present the broadcasting hours are 7:00 p. m. on Monday ami Thurs day when lectures and readings are given from the station by faculty members or students, and 8:00 p. m. on Thursday when musical programs are given and a lecture presented. The musical programs are urranged by Professor Grummann of the School of Fine Arts. The weather forecast and Nebraska raid reports are broad cast daily at 10:00 a. m. There are two receiving nets used in the station. One is n standard De Forest three-circuit, honeycomb set with detector and two stages of audio frequency amplification, and covers the wave length rango from ISO to 20,000 meters. The other is a three tube In verse-Kef lex set having four stages of amplification, using a loop untenni, and covering only the broad casting wave bands from about 1100 to f.00 meters. A Western Electric type 10-A power amplifier and loud speaker are arranged so they can bo used in connection with either set. Under fa vorable conditions these sets will pick up broadcast programs from most of the larger stations in the United States and Canada.
