It is hoped to have several dual meets and if there is promising material for Valley championships men will he sent to the Missouri Valley Moot which is to be held at the University o- Kansas. Negotiations are nhv under way for meets with the Kans.ts State Agricultural ColK-ge, I'niveisity of Oklahoma, Creighton Univeisity, .ind it is hoped to add several others to this list. All candidates for the Varsity t am are asked to get. out as soon as possible so that the best men of the University may be encouraged and that, they might practice as much as possible before the first meet. The basket ball floor at the coliseum has been marked out for one double court and the men who were out for tennis last fall and showed up the best will be enow raged to go out there nnd practice. This court was marked out yesterday and is now ready for play ing. Arrangements are being m.uK ?o that the building will bo cpon so players may practice at any time but due to the fact that there is only one court only those men who showed ability will be allowed to use this floor, as It is expected that it will be busy most of the time. Skal.berg, Limjoco, Russell, Craw ford, Colby, Peddieord, and Matthews, were the men who composed the team last fall and it is hoped these men will begin practice at once. Il is thought that Nebraska, with these men "and some others who without doubt have tennis ability should make a good record in any dual meet and place some men in the Missouri Valley. George Salter is acting manager cf the tennis team and is cooperating with the athletic department in ar ranging matches and taking care of the tennis courts. A'l holders of seas on tickets are eligible to u?e the courts while students who do not have the season ticket may play on payment of a small fee.
