will hold a dinner at the chamber cf
commerce Wednesday night, Decern
ber 14. ,
Approximately three hundred tick

and are goins on s:i.'e today on the
campus. All men in the college arc
urged to secure thkots early and at
tend this first gathering of its na

chamber or commerce caterers.
bean I. M. Buck will preside over
a short toast !Ut ul'ter the liinner.
Short addie. ses will be made by one
cr two faculty members and students.
Other novel entti tainmeiit features

promises to be a great success.
A committee consisting of Dean
Uuck, Ward M. Kandol, Orvin U. Gas
tun, and Mike Miles have been av
work for some time making plans lot,
the affair. The necessity for organ
ization, within the callege of arts anu
science, which is the largest, college
in the university, has long been ap
parent. It is thought that bringing
the men of the college together in
this manner will be an excellent be
ginning toward such organization.
A similar affair for the women in
the college will probably be held some
time in the future.
