More than three hundred attended the banquet, held by the Nebraska Assembly of the American Association of Engineers, the Nebraska Road In stitute and the engineering students Friday evening at the Lincoln hotel. With James B. Harvey of Omaha, toastmaster, responses were made by Lawrence Metzger, Dean O. J. Fergu son, O. J. See, Chancellor Avery, Robert L. Cochrane. George A. Lee delivered an address on "The En gineer as a Constructive Force in the Nation." The ngineers' orchestra fur nished music. Delta Tau Delta Delta Tau Delta held its annual banquet at the Savoy hotel Friday evening. Seventy-five active and alumni members were present. Virii Haggart acted as toastmaster. LeRossignol's second booklet on "Scientific Socialism," an explanation and criticism of the doc trines and proposals of scientific so cialism, has been published recently. The booklet contains four articles entitled: "The Marxian Theory of Value," "The Marxian Law of Increas ing Misery," "The Marxian Theory of Surplus Value," "The Socialist Eeo nomcis of Machinery." A third booklet will be published in May, and then the three booklets will be published as one book by the Thomas Y. Crowell Company of New York City, who have already pub lished three of Dean LeRossignol's books. The third booklet is entitled "Sophistry of Socialism." PERSONALS John S.
