THE DAILY NEBRASKAN WANT UNIVERSITY MEN FOR FOUR SQUARE TEAMS Secretary H. W. Kendall Asks Older Students to Help With Work Among High School Boys. A call for four teams of four Uni versity men each to carry one week end programs for the high school boys of some of the larger Nebraska towns has reached the Y. M. C. A. office H. W. Kendall, district secretary for the territory Including Nebraska has asked for young men to make up what he calls the "four-square" teams. The University Y. M. C. A. has done this work during the year on a local basis, but the trips called for by the state director are a part of a comprehensive plan which he has be gun. Mr. Kendall expects to reach the boys of thirty-two Nebraska towns with the inspiration which Christian college men can give. The first team has made arrangements to go to Ord for a series of meetings February 25 to 27. The members of the "four-square" teams not only address the high school boys but they lead them in discussions and conduct athletic games and contests. The boys reached throug'i the state campaign will be charted as to their physical, intellectual, devotional, and service development This charting has been arranged for underthe Christian ctti zenship training program worked out by the national committee of the V. M. C. A. The University teams are being rained by Clyde Wilcox and his com mittee, who are assised by Dr. D. E Thomas. Dr. Thomas Is head of this work as chairman of the Community Service Department of the United Christian program.
