THE STAFF OF THE SCHOOL.
As this issue of the Daily Ne
braskan goes to press, the staff for
tin' first semester completes Its work.
The next number will be put out by
the new staff. It has been the aim
of this semsetr'ewyyyy d shall sh
of this semester's staff to give the
school the best possible service. The
endeavor has been to make the
editorial columns stand for progress.
to ' make them uphold scholarship,
encourage the various school activi
ties that are recognized as worth
while and make students ihink. The
object of the news columns has been
to keep students in touch with Uni
versity life, to serve as a medinm
between organizations and individuals
and to give prominence to those ac
tivities that merit encourasenient.
The circulation department has
spared no effort to give the sub
scribers efficient service.
The school as a whole has given us
splendid cooperation, and we appre
ciate this. It is only by co-oiioratiou
that the Daily Nebraskan can serve
the school efficiently. Looking back
oer the semester we can see where
there is opportunity for improvement
both on the part of the staff and on
the part of Hie school. The staff
might improve the paper by publish
ing news of a larger scope. The
school can contribute more to the
success of the Daily Nebraskan
through a larger subscription list.
The staff wishes success to the
school and success 'to the Daily Ne
braskan next semester.

HONOR IN EXAMINATIONS.
During the next week the honor o'
the students will he on trial. Final
examinations are a serious matter
and in proportion to their seriou
is the temptation to cheat. Authori
ties are stressing the importance of
fcf.ru-s'y mere this year than ever be
fore. Great precaution is beinr
taken to remove temptation from
students. If anyaie rautrht cheating,
they will suffer serious consequences.
The spirit opposed to chfa'ing pre
vail among the students as well a
the memlfis of the faculty. The
fart that the honor spirit plan was
voted down last year does not indi
cate that ihe student body is In favor
of cheating; it merely indicates that
they thought the plan impractical.
Th conversation of students shows
that rheating is constantly growing
In disfavrr. Not only is it against
the rules to cheat, but it is not the
style. ,

Kirschbaurn Clothes
Price
It is difficult, we know, to believe that
clothing prices can be cut in half, honestly
and genuinely! But we are doing it; even
tho it takes us a long, long way below the
actual wholesale cost.
Frankly, our object is clearance deci
sive and immediate-of all clothing stock
now on hand. The original October prices
are on each garment. You simply pay
HALF the figure at which the garments
originally sold.
