GENERAL AZGAPETIAN
SPEAKS AT CONVOCATION
Splendid ensemble playing char
acterized the recital given by Harold
H. Lewis, piano; George B. Tack,
flute; and Harry Anderson, violin, at
the Thursday morning Convocation.
Mr. Tack, whose ability as a flutist
is well known in Lincoln, is at the
head of the Chautauqua department
of the University School of Music.
Harold Lewis and Harry Anderson
are Seniors in the University, and are
both going out as the heads of Chau
tauqua companies this summer.
It is to be regretted that a larger
audience could not have benefitted by
the well planned musical program,
and the short address which followed.
The proper publicity was not given,
and thus many students missed out.
General Azgapetian, a native of
Armenia, made an eloquent plea for
the Armenian Relief. He is a grad
uate of an Armenian college, of a
Swiss University, and Columbia Uni
versity of New York. He was in the
military and diplomatic service of his
country for thirty years and fought
with the Armenian" army against the
Turks for two years.
