Dr. Batten Will Speak
Dr. S. Z. Batten, who is attending
the fifteenth anlversary of the First
Baptist church, Fourteenth and K
streets, will speak to the university
students at the church Sunday mom
ing at 12 o'clock. He is one of the
foremost social workers in the world
and has just returned from a mission
in the interest of reform movements
in Europe. He was pastor of the Bap
tist church in Lincoln when the city
went dry, and was one of the leading
factors in that movement.
