Legislative League to Meet The
Legislative Ladies' league' will meet
in the Art Gallery Wednesday after
noon at 3 o'clock. Professor Dann
will talk on Carol Beckwith's exhibi
tion, which will remain hero until the
first of March, when it goes to the
Peru State Normal school.
The School of Fine Arts is getting
ready for an exhibit of pictures of
state capltol buildings. Reliable pic
tures of the capltol building of every
state In the Union and possibly other
public buildings will compose the col
lection. This is being done to be of
assistance in shaping ideas for our
own new capitol.
Menorah Reorganized The Menor
ah society met Sunday evening, Feb
ruary 16, at the Women's Building.
The society is a national organisa
tion among the universities und was
revived here by Mathais Levenson,
who acted as temporary chairman.
The alms of the organization are to
study Jewish history, literature, and
ideals, and to follow up closely the
present development in Palestine.
The following officers were elected:
President. Maurice Margolin; vice
president, Mathlas Levenson; secre
tary, Ethel Katz; treasurer, Edward
Kushner.
Professor Alexis in his welcome ad
dress to the organization urged the
members to make a special study of
their Hebrew ancestry as their spe
cial gift to civilization. The rest of
the evening was spent in playing
games.
Y. W. C. K. t Serve Today
The Y. W. C. A. will serve hot
chocolate today at 12 o'clock at
the Woman's Hall. It is hoped that
the girls will get better acquainted
with the comforts of the building.
